What are FloatBuds™ Floatsuits?

FloatBuds™ Floatsuits are children's swimsuits with integrated foam floats strategically placed around the tummy and back. These floats provide 360° buoyancy support and help children maintain a natural, horizontal swimming position while building water confidence.

Unlike traditional arm floaties that can slip off or keep children in an unnatural vertical position, FloatBuds™ keeps kids balanced and supported — so they can focus on learning to swim!

What ages are FloatBuds™ suitable for?

Our Floatsuits are designed for children aged 1 to 6 years old. Please refer to our Size Guide to find the perfect fit based on your child's measurements.

Note for younger children: Babies and younger toddlers may need extra support from an adult until they find their balance. Always hold their hands until they can maintain stability with just the tops of their shoulders out of the water.

Can the foam floats be adjusted or removed?

Yes! One of the best features of FloatBuds™ is the adjustable foam floats. As your child becomes more confident in the water and their swimming abilities improve, you can remove the floats in pairs to gradually reduce buoyancy.

This allows you to customise the level of support as your little one progresses on their swim journey. 🌊

What's the difference between FloatBuds™ and regular arm floaties?

Great question! Here's why parents are making the switch:

Where can FloatBuds™ be used?

FloatBuds™ is designed for use in controlled water environments such as:

• Swimming pools
• Calm, shallow water
• Supervised swim lessons

Can my child swim unsupervised while wearing FloatBuds™?

Absolutely not. No swim aid, flotation device, or buoyancy product replaces the need for active adult supervision. Children can get into difficulty quickly and silently — even when wearing flotation aids.

An adult must be within arm's reach at all times when your child is in or around water.

How do I choose the right size?

Please refer to our Size Guide for detailed measurements. We recommend measuring your child and comparing to our chart rather than going by age alone, as children vary in size.

📦 Shipping Questions

How long does shipping take?

We ship worldwide from our fulfilment centres. Average shipping times are 8-12 business days depending on your location.

When will my order ship?

We try our best to ship items as fast as possible. Please allow 3-5 business days for your order to be processed and shipped.

How do I track my order?

Tracking is updated 3-5 days after your order has shipped. You can track your order on our Tracking Page.

If you don't have your tracking after 7 business days, please email us at contactfloatbuds@gmail.com.

I entered the wrong address — what do I do?

Don't panic! Simply email us at contactfloatbuds@gmail.com as soon as possible with your order number and the correct address.

We can update your address within 24 hours of your order being placed. After that, the package may have already shipped and we may not be able to make changes.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery. Products must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

What if my order arrives damaged or faulty?

We're sorry to hear that! Please contact us immediately at contactfloatbuds@gmail.com with:

• Your order number
• Photos of the damage or defect

We'll make it right for you — either with a replacement or full refund. 

Can I cancel my order?

Yes! You can cancel your order with no penalty before it ships. Once shipped, you'll need to wait for delivery and then initiate a return.

Are FloatBuds™ certified?

Yes! Our floatsuits are CE certified to EN 13138-1:2021, the European standard for swim aids. This certification confirms our products meet recognised safety and quality standards for buoyancy swim aids.

Please note: This certification is for swim aids, not life-saving devices. Adult supervision is still required at all times.
